With so many travel options all over the world to explore, where should you go if you want to get away for Christmas this year?

How about a winter wonderland in London at Hyde Park?

Or maybe a Christmas market and beach carnival in the Maldives on Vakkaru Island.

What about spending your holiday tucked away in a sprawling 5-star castle type of hotel in Ireland, which gets all decorated for the holidays?

My dream is to spend Christmas someday in Finland. There are elves, reindeer, cookie decorating with Mrs. Claus and for adults, there’s snowmobile safaris, husky rides, and you can even search for Northern Lights.

But what if you don’t want to travel too far away and instead want to stay within the United States?

Come for a visit and when you are done head to Philadelphia to do one or all of these 21 free things

After that you can take a quick road trip to New York City to see the 75-foot-tall Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center.

There is also ice skating at Central Park, Bryant Park and Rockefeller Center.

Don’t forget to make time for a Broadway show, especially if you can get a cheap Broadway ticket this way

For some Christmas amusement park fun, never ever go to Disney, instead visit Christmas Town, Busch Gardens. This is held at both the Williamsburg, VA and Tampa, FL locations.

You will be able to see over 8 million lights and enjoy their signature peppermint fudge hot chocolate.
