You know that cliched saying, “they grow up so fast”? Well I am here to tell you it is completely true. I can’t believe I am saying this, but I recently took my 15-year old son back to school shopping for high school. Yes you heard me correctly, high school. What I thought was going to be a stressful outing trying to find cool clothes for a teenage boy actually turned out to be stress free and fun. Thanks to Boscov’s for sponsoring this post, although all opinions are my own, so I can share with you how to make back to school shopping for teen boys simple.
What should I buy for back to school clothes?
Do you have trouble figuring out where to shop and what to buy for teens, especially teen boys clothing and accessories?
My son is a fan of certain name brands like Nike, Puma, Adidas, Nautica and Jansport, so it can be tricky finding a store that carries all of those brands and even more.
Between the reality of parenting a teen, teenage dating drama, plus teens and social media, the last thing I want to feel overwhelmed about is back to school shopping for my teen.
Last year I discovered a store that made back to school shopping with not only my teenage son, but also my 9-year old daughter, easy and stress free (parenting win).
For under $200.00 my son got a new JanSport schoolbag (my daughter picked out a new schoolbag too), 3 Nike short-sleeved shirts, 1 Nike long-sleeved dri-fit shirt, Nike sweatpants, 2 pairs of jogger style pants, a pack of underwear and each kid got a pair of Nike sports slides.
How do you save on back to school shopping?
With everything like clothing, school supplies, lunches and activities, back to school shopping can seem overwhelming plus costly. Thankfully, Boscov’s is there to help not only save on all your back to school shopping needs, but also allow you to get everything you need in one place. They are definitely one of my top go-to stores to save my back to school sanity while also making back to school shopping for my teenage son simple.
Boscov’s carries all the back to school apparel, shoes and accessories for the whole family at prices that are kind to my wallet, which makes me a very happy parent.
After we finished shopping at Boscov’s, I took my teen out for lunch and a movie with the money we saved.
My favorite part, besides the fact that we got all of those back to school items at one store, was that everything was on sale.
Most of the Nike clothing was at least 25% off and Boscov’s doesn’t ever make you print out or show any special coupons.
Now you know how to make back to school shopping for teen boys simple, so head to Boscov’s where you can save yourself time, money, and also arguments with your teen.
