I know that with Thanksgiving being later this year than in years past, it seems that Christmas is just around the corner (yikes!), well, IT IS!
As I sit here and look at my prettily decorated Christmas Tree (thanks to my children), the one thing that I notice is the lack of presents beneath it.
Now, this is not for lack of buying presents, I seem to just always be busy (and lazy) this year to wrap them!
Wrapping presents to me is the epitome of putting away the dishes, the laundry and unpacking the groceries. – I love the shopping act, but once I get all of the items in the house I definitely do not feel like wrapping them in special paper that is fragile and keeps ripping, or the massive amounts of tape that get stuck to my hand, or feeling like an architect as I try to figure out how to inconspicuously wrap my son’s new bat!
Whew! I’m already tired and I haven’t even wrapped anything.
So please tell me:
Are you wrapped and ready to go for the holidays?
Or are you like me and just staring at a pile of unwrapped gifts, that unless little wrapping fairies visit my home, may or may not get wrapped?
Are you a buy and wrap right away kind of person, or do you get all your gifts together and have a wrapping party?!
Any tips on how to easily and beautifully wrap a present?
Happy Friday the 13th and Happy Wrapping!
