One of my favorite Hersheypark memories, besides all the chocolate we were allowed to eat, was convincing my dad to ride the carousel over and over with me. Now my daughter does the same thing with me, since the carousel is one of her favorite rides.
Recently I took a pretty sweet weekend trip to Hershey, PA in order to learn more about the area, see what’s new and have some fun. One of the exciting things we got to do was spend an afternoon in Hersheypark. Not only did we learn about all the family friendly fun they have to offer, but we also got some pretty cool sneak peeks. Are you ready to see how Hersheypark is stepping up the fun in big ways this year?
New to the Hersheypark Boardwalk this year and opening Memorial Day weekend is the longest mat racing slide in the world. Whitecap Racer has 6 color-coded lanes and also tracks your time for the ultimate in racing fun.
Race a friend (or 5) to see who can loop around the tunnels and find out who slides the fastest this summer.
These award wining super sized milkshakes are delightfully delicious and very fun to watch being created.
You can find them near the front of Hersheypark at Simply Chocolate.
They are not only a creamy and refreshing, but they are topped with sweet treats like a large cookie, cupcake, blondies and more.
Think you can finish a whole king sized shake by yourself?
I am in love with this fresh idea for a theme park, especially with the food truck trend on the rage right now. Located near the Boardwalk area inside of Hersheypark, Food Truck Fridays serves up a delicious variety of foods on wheels.
This exciting plus flavorful experience takes place on Fridays through May 18th and is included with your Hersheypark admission ticket.
