Summer is slowly but surely starting to wind down and it is definitely time for my family and I to start getting our selves into back to school mode. This upcoming school year is especially exciting because my son is moving up into the 7th grade center and my daughter will start first grade at a new school.
One of my favorite things about a new school year is all the fun of back to school shopping. I love getting to spend quality time taking each of my kids out shopping for their school supplies, new clothes and shoes so that they can be sure to start the new school year off right.
I want to share with you that kids are not the only ones who need to be prepared for back to school, but parents need to be positively prepared as well.
How you might ask?
Well let me tell you that last school year there were a few times that I stayed up too late helping my son with a project or studying with him for a big test and I didn’t get much sleep, or woke up with a headache, which I was unprepared to handle.
I also have to admit that there were a couple of times throughout the last school year that one of my kids woke up or came home from school with a fever, sore throat or cold symptoms, and I did not have medication on hand to help give them some relief.
This school year will be better because thanks to Target not only carrying the clothes, notebooks, pencils, backpacks and more that my kids need for back to school, I can also stock up on Tylenol and Motrin products so that my whole family will be ready to tackle each day.
Get positively prepared with the right pain relief for you and your family at Target.
Getting into the back to school routine, especially after a fun-filled summer, can be difficult enough. I want to ensure that my family makes the transition from the lazy days of summer into the jam-packed school year with as little headache as possible.
Since back to school is an entire family event, I decided that after I organize my kids new supplies and pack up their schoolbags, I will prepare a parent pencil-case which will include Children’s MOTRIN®, TYLENOL® PM and TYLENOL®, then our family’s back to school routine isn’t interrupted by common cold symptoms, aches, pains, fevers and more. Each one of these products is perfect for helping my family temporarily relieve minor aches, pains and more so that we can all get back to feeling our best.
My parent pencil-case, similar to my kids pencil cases, will help keep our family organized and positively prepared at all times throughout the year, so something like the common cold, toothache or fever won’t keep us down or hinder us from keeping up with our busy schedules.
What’s inside my parent pencil case to help my family feel better and miss as few school days as possible?
1. Children’s MOTRIN®, for children ages 2 to 11 years, temporarily reduces fever; relieves minor aches and pains due to: the common cold, flu, headache, sore throat, & toothache.
2. TYLENOL® PM, the #1 Doctor Recommended brand for pain with sleeplessness. TYLENOL® PM contains a pain reliever and nighttime sleep aid. TYLENOL® PM relieves pain and helps you fall fast asleep and stay asleep.
3. TYLENOL® — #1 Doctor Recommended Brand of Pain Reliever. TYLENOL® provides strong, fast relief for your back pain. TYLENOL® gives you fast relief from your headache pain. TYLENOL® does not irritate the stomach the way Aleve® or even Advil® can.
Now that you know how I will be preparing my family for a happy and healthy back to school year, I would like to hear your plans.
Please leave me your best tip for having a successful start to a new school year.
