* I was invited to screen the movie Cars 3, but all opinions are my own.
My family and I were invited to screen the movie Cars 3, which races into theaters nationwide on June 16th. I was excited to take my son and daughter to see the 3rd (and dare I say final) movie in this fast, fun and adorable franchise, especially since my son has loved Cars since he was about 2 years old.
Now I won’t spoil the movie for you, but after watching it I realized that Cars 3 has a perfectly unexpected message for all ages that I just had to share.
Cars 3 provides feel good messages of support, selflessness and girl power that people of every age can benefit from.
I think that this may even be my favorite movie in the Cars franchise now, especially after seeing my kids faces light up and hearing them talk excitedly about the themes of positivity, loyalty and empowerment that were strongly visible throughout the movie.
I truly didn’t expect to walk away from Cars 3 with an important message, but I did and I have been thinking about it ever since.
Cars 3 Has A Perfectly Unexpected Message For All Ages
The perfectly unexpected message that I want to share with you from Cars 3 is something that rings true within my everyday life. It is a message that I teach my kids to live their lives by and encourage others to do the same.
The main theme of the message is one of support and empowerment.
I didn’t expect to embrace a message through a movie as much as I did within Cars 3.
The movie reminded me that no matter how old or young you are everyone needs a support system in order to thrive in life.
I was reminded that just because you may not do something as well as someone else, instead of trying to compete or put that person down, empower them, support them and show them the way to get to the finish line so that they may succeed.
To sum it up, the perfectly unexpected message is that sometimes in life you have to take a backseat and encourage someone else to race to the front and shine.
Cheer for people in life, because there is enough sun for everyone.
